Shipping

*Free shipping over $50 is for within Australia only.

Most orders will be shipped within 1 – 2 days after payment has been confirmed and we will confirm shipment to you with an email.  Some orders may take a little longer but will usually be ready to ship within 5-7 days. If for some unexpected reason your order will take longer, I will inform you with an email.

All parcels both to Australia and overseas require a signature for delivery and you need to give us an address where someone will be available to sign for the parcel, e.g. your work address. If you are not able to sign, the courier will leave a card and you can pick up the parcel at a designated post office.

Shipping within Australia

Free shipping for orders over $50

Standard: $8.00 – Registered mail, 3-10 business days

Express: $12.00 – Express Post, 1-3 business days

Shipping outside Australia

Please contact us for postage charges to countries other than Australia.

(Note: 10% tax will be deducted at checkout for exports – in effect reducing your shipping cost)

The delivery times depend on the destination and please remember in busy times such as Christmas, delivery may take longer. Once an item leaves mel&me Jewellery whether by Registered or Express Post, it is in the care and control of Australia Post, and mel&me Jewellery is not liable for any lost parcels or subsequent late delivery of orders.

If we are shipping out of Australia for you, it will be a tax-free export and the 10% GST will be deducted automatically at Checkout.

International Customs Clearance

All items shipped outside of Australia may be subject to duties and taxes in the destination country and these will be payable by you. As countries have different rules, we suggest you check with our local Customs office beforehand and should you refuse to pay any costs associated with the import and the parcel is returned to us at a cost, we reserve the right to deduct this cost from your refund. As overseas parcels may be subject to Customs inspections, this may cause a delay in delivery but unfortunately this is out of our hands.
